Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to transform that passion into a thriving business as a music instructor, where she founded a highly successful after-school music program, ROCK STAR GUITAR ACADEMY, that served over 15 schools across the East Bay area.

mikO’s program stood out not only for its reach but also for its accessibility—providing free guitar rentals for students and training fellow musicians to become instructors. She authored a color-coded curriculum for beginning and intermediate guitar, “Guitar Basics,” making music education approachable and engaging for learners of all levels.
